Widgets that adapt to each visitor
Popups, slide-ups, sticky bars, and embeds that show the right offer to the right person. Unlike generic popup tools, RightMessage widgets change based on who's viewing them.
Beautiful by default, no designer required
RightMessage widgets are designed to look great out of the box. Clean, modern, and optimized for every screen size.
Customize colors and branding to match your site, or use our defaults. Either way, they'll convert.
Popup forms and CTAs
Show personalized offers based on exit intent, time on page, scroll percentage, or button clicks. Each popup adapts to who's viewing.
New visitors see your lead magnet. Returning visitors see your quiz. Subscribers see an upgrade offer. All from one widget with smart targeting.
Sticky bars
Anchor a bar to the top or bottom of your site, or reveal it on scroll. Perfect for promotions, announcements, or subtle opt-in prompts.
Personalize the message based on visitor segment. Show a discount to price-sensitive visitors, a case study to skeptics.
Embedded forms and offers
Drop a single line of code anywhere on your site and we'll inject a personalized opt-in form or offer. Great for blog posts, landing pages, and footers.
The content adapts to each visitor. Same embed code, different experience for different segments.

Slide-ups
Less intrusive than popups but still effective. Slide-ups appear from the corner of the screen, catching attention without blocking content.
Perfect for subtle nudges that don't interrupt the reading experience. High conversion rates with lower annoyance.
Full-screen takeovers
When you want maximum attention, use a full-screen takeover. Perfect for quizzes, surveys, and high-stakes offers.
The immersive experience keeps visitors focused. Completion rates are significantly higher than inline forms.

Frequently asked questions
What types of widgets can I create?
RightMessage offers five widget types: popups (centered modals), slide-ups (corner notifications), sticky bars (top or bottom of page), full-screen takeovers, and inline embeds. Each type has different use cases—popups for high-impact offers, slide-ups for subtle nudges, bars for announcements, takeovers for quizzes, and embeds for in-content forms.
What triggers can I use to show widgets?
You can trigger widgets based on time on page (show after X seconds), scroll depth (show at 50% scroll), exit intent (when the mouse moves toward the browser close button), or manual triggers via JavaScript. You can also show widgets immediately when the page loads. Exit intent is desktop-only.
Can I show different widgets to different visitors?
Yes. Using our visual Flow builder, you can create targeting rules that show different widgets based on visitor segments, behavior, email subscriber status, or any data you've collected. New visitors might see a lead magnet popup, while returning subscribers see an upgrade offer or nothing at all.
How do I customize the widget design?
Our visual designer lets you customize colors (background, text, buttons, borders), typography (font family, sizes, line height), structure (border radius, spacing, shadows), and more. You can also add custom CSS for advanced styling. Multiple themes are available as starting points, and everything updates in a live preview.
Can I control which pages show widgets?
Yes. Each widget has visibility rules where you can include or exclude specific URLs. Use exact URLs or wildcard patterns (like /blog/*) to target specific sections of your site. You can also target by device type—desktop, tablet, or mobile—to optimize the experience for each screen size.
Will widgets slow down my website?
No. The RightMessage script is lightweight and loads asynchronously, meaning it doesn't block your page from rendering. Widgets only load when triggered, and the script is served from a fast global CDN. Most sites see no measurable impact on page load times.
How do inline embeds work?
Inline embeds use placement areas—specific spots in your HTML where you want the widget to appear. Add a small div with a data attribute to your page, and RightMessage will inject the personalized content there. This is perfect for in-content opt-ins, sidebar forms, or footer CTAs that adapt to each visitor.
Can visitors dismiss widgets?
Yes. All overlay widgets (popups, slide-ups, takeovers) include a close button. You can configure how long to wait before showing the widget again to someone who dismissed it. RightMessage remembers dismissals so visitors aren't pestered with the same popup repeatedly.
Do widgets work on mobile devices?
Yes. All widgets are fully responsive and optimized for mobile screens. You can also choose to show or hide specific widgets on mobile devices. Note that exit intent triggers only work on desktop since mobile devices don't have mouse cursor tracking.
