Update your profile and password
Update the name, email, and password you use across your RightMessage projects, sign out other browsers, or delete your account.
Updated
View as MarkdownYour account keeps the personal details you use across all your RightMessage projects. Change your login email or password once here, and it applies everywhere you work.
Open Your account with the avatar at the bottom of the sidebar. Its pages are listed down the sidebar, and Sign out sits at the end of that list.
Update your name or email
- Open Your account > Profile.
- Under Your details, edit Name or Email.
- Choose Save changes.
These fields don't save automatically. If a field shows an error, correct it and choose Save changes again. Email is the address you sign in with, not a contact address for one project. Your avatar is made from your initials.
When you change your email, RightMessage sends a confirmation link to the new address. The link expires in 24 hours. Until an address is confirmed, Profile shows Confirm your email address with Send confirmation email, and inviting people outside your organization waits until you confirm it.
Your affiliate ID is on its own page, Your account > Affiliate, and saves as you type. Report emails are under Your account > Notifications.
Change your password
You'll need your current password. If you don't know it, request a password reset instead.
- Open Your account > Sign-in & security.
- Under Password, enter Current password.
- Enter New password. It needs at least 8 characters.
- Choose Update password.
To ask for a code from your phone as well as your password, set up two-factor authentication in the same place.
Sign out other browsers
If you signed in on a shared or lost computer, you can sign it out from here. Browser sessions only lists the browser you're using now, so other browsers are signed out all together.
- Under Browser sessions on Sign-in & security, choose Log out other sessions.
- Enter your password.
- Choose Log out other sessions.
Every other browser and device signed in to your account is signed out. The browser you're using stays signed in.
Sign out
Open Your account and choose Sign out at the bottom of its sidebar list. Signing out doesn't cancel a subscription, delete a project, or revoke an AI connection.
Delete your account
You'll need to cancel any plan that's still billing first. If one is, the dialog says Cancel your plans before deleting your account. and links to the billing page to cancel it.
- On Sign-in & security, find Delete your account under Danger zone and choose Delete account.
- Type your account email to confirm, then enter your password.
- Choose Delete account.
To remove only one project instead, see deleting a project. To change a project's name or website, open project settings.
