# Update your profile and password

Update the name, email, and password you use across your RightMessage projects, add your affiliate ID, or sign out.

Your profile keeps the personal details you use across all your RightMessage projects. Change your login email or password here without editing each project.

## Update your name or email

1. Sign in and choose your name in the lower-left navigation to open **Your profile**.
2. Open **Personal & Password**.
3. Edit **Name** or **Email**. Both are required and can be up to 255 characters. Your name can't contain a link, and your email must be valid and not used by another account.
4. If you have an affiliate ID, enter it in **Affiliate ID**. It's optional and can be up to 255 characters.
5. Choose **Update Profile**.

These fields don't save automatically. If a field shows a validation error, correct it and choose **Update Profile** again. **Email** is your login email, not a contact address for one project.

**Affiliate ID** associates referrals with your affiliate account. The nearby link opens the affiliate program. It doesn't create an agency profile or invite clients.

You'll also find **Enable Weekly Report Emails** in this form. It's on by default when you haven't saved a preference. See [report email preferences](https://rightmessage.com/help/report-emails) for the messages it controls.

## Change your password

You'll need your current password. If you don't know it, [request a password reset](https://rightmessage.com/help/reset-your-password) instead.

1. In **Password**, enter **Current Password**.
2. Enter **New Password**, then repeat it in **Confirm New Password**.
3. Choose **Update Password**.

This form has its own validation errors and save button. **Update Profile** doesn't save a password change.

## Sign out

Choose **Sign out** in profile navigation to end your session. It doesn't cancel a subscription, delete a project, or revoke an [AI connection](https://rightmessage.com/help/mcp-authorization-reference).
