Describe who you want to hear about
Write up to 10 rules in plain language, like “customers looking at billing.”
Describe who you want to hear about in plain language, like “non-customers evaluating pricing.” When someone from your list visits and fits, your team gets an email within about half an hour: why they matter, what they looked at, and what to do next.
Known contacts only. No IP guessing. Add it to any plan.

At risk of cancelling
Current customers looking at billing or the cancellation page.

Aisha Khan from Harbor Goods, a current customer, opened billing and the cancellation page twice this visit.
Daniel Kim from Summit Advisors, a new lead, came in from a Google ad and went from the consulting page to pricing twice.
Chloe Martin from Atlas Creative, a former customer who cancelled in June, came back from your newsletter and viewed pricing.
A lead goes quiet for months, then spends an afternoon on your pricing page. Unless they book a call, nobody on your team finds out. Lead alerts make sure someone does.
Write up to 10 rules in plain language, like “customers looking at billing.”
When a known contact goes 20 minutes without a new page view, AI checks their visit against every rule.
Within about half an hour of their visit: why they matter, what they looked at, and a next step.
A rule can also tag them, add them to a list, or set a custom field for someone already there.
Who they are and why they matter, the pages they read, where they came from, how often they’ve been back, their tags from your email platform, and a suggested next step. It goes to up to 20 addresses you choose.
Maya Chen triggered 'Hot leads'
Maya Chen, Head of Client Delivery at Lumen Digital, booked a demo in March, went quiet, and came back from your webinar email to compare agency pricing.
maya@lumendigital.com viewed 2 pages over 11 minutes, arriving from hubspot (email). This was their 2nd visit in 30 days.
Suggested next step: Reply today with a short note about agency plans, and offer to pick up where the March demo left off.
You get these because a lead alert rule for acme.com emails you. Change rules and what they do in People › Lead alerts.
Thanks,
The RightMessage Team
A rule can also tag the person, add them to a list, or set a custom field in your email platform or CRM. It only updates people who are already there, and it never creates contacts.

No. Those tools guess who an anonymous visitor is from their IP address. RightMessage names someone only after they identify themselves, for example by submitting a form or clicking an identifying link in your email. Anonymous visitors stay anonymous and never trigger an alert.
Only known contacts: people who clicked a link in your email, submitted a form, or were identified by your site calling identifyByEmail. Each rule alerts you about the same person at most once every 7 days.
An alerted lead is a person a lead alert rule alerted you about that month. Repeat alerts about the same person that month are free, and visitors who match no rule never count. Pay for the leads we find, not the traffic you get.
A visit ends when 20 minutes pass without a new page view. AI then checks it against every rule, and matches reach your inbox within about half an hour of the visit. Alerts aren’t real-time, so they suit a same-day follow-up.
Custom fields work on every integration. Tags work on ActiveCampaign, Bento, Drip, Encharge, GoHighLevel, Intercom, Keap, Kit, Mailchimp and Ontraport. Lists work on ActiveCampaign, Customer.io, HubSpot, Klaviyo and MailerLite. Klaviyo’s segments are read-only, and adding someone to a Mailchimp audience would create a contact, so those two are left out. Actions only update people already in your email platform; lead alerts never create contacts.
Each email goes to up to 20 addresses you choose. It says why the person matters, the pages they viewed on that visit, where they arrived from and how often they’ve visited before, their tags from your email platform, and a suggested next step. In the app, each alert also has a fuller AI read on who they are, what they care about and their intent.
Yes. Copy to AI agent hands an alert’s whole record to ChatGPT or Claude. With the RightMessage MCP connected, your assistant can also create rules and read your alerts.
No. You can add lead alerts to Grow, Scale, or Pro. On Grow and Scale, alerts work without the People feed; full visitor profiles and timelines are on Pro. Pro includes 1,000 alerted leads a month. Everyone else picks a volume, starting at $49 a month for 50 alerted leads ($39 a month billed yearly).
Extra matches are held, not lost. They’re listed in the app with no email and no charge, and raising your volume that month sends them, so there are no surprise bills. You can also opt in to raising it automatically, up to a limit you set.
Yes. Every project gets up to 1,000 alerted leads a month free through November 21. After that, Pro includes 1,000 a month and other plans pick a volume.
