A Currency question lets you collect a monetary amount, such as someone's budget, in a currency you choose. It doesn't collect a payment.

When to use it

Use this question when an amount helps you decide what to recommend. WorkForge (opens in a new tab) could ask for a monthly project-management budget before recommending a plan.

The question doesn't charge the visitor, open a checkout, or convert currencies.

SettingDefault and what it does
CurrencyUSD. Accepts a three-letter ISO 4217 code such as EUR or GBP.
MinimumNo lower limit. Sets the smallest accepted amount.
MaximumNo upper limit. Sets the largest accepted amount.
PlaceholderEmpty. Shows a hint before entry.
RequiredOff. Visitors can skip the question.

Visitors see the configured currency symbol where available. Currency doesn't have the Number question's Step, Prefix, or Suffix controls.

The answer must be a finite number within your limits. Decimals are accepted, and zero is valid unless your minimum excludes it.

Changing the currency changes how the amount appears. It doesn't change the numerical value of earlier answers. See shared question settings for wording and button labels.

How answers are stored and synced

RightMessage saves a number, without a currency symbol. Map it to a field that accepts amounts in the currency you've selected.

Save answers to shows your connected platform's name and offers compatible native or custom fields. Answers can still appear in Responses without a mapping. Mapping a field doesn't identify the visitor. See answer sync for identification and destination checks.

Currency answers don't automatically create segments or answer branches. Use input-answer conditions to compare the saved amount. A linked form field submits with its form.

The editor preview doesn't record answers or send data to your email platform. Existing edits autosave to the draft and affect every use after publication. The Questions library reference covers creating and reusing questions.
