Needs attention checks and actions

You'll see what each dashboard warning means, including the A/B test and deployed-winner alerts, where to go to fix it, and how to bring back a warning you've ignored.

Use Needs attention on the Dashboard to find problems with tracking, flows, email-platform updates, A/B tests, and deployed winners. Each check points you to the affected items so you can investigate. It covers the checks below, not every possible website problem.

This example has no active checks. When there are checks, the count links to the detailed Needs attention section.

What each check means

CheckWhat it meansAvailable action
Email platform sync failingRightMessage has answers, but updates aren't reaching your connected email platform.Reconnect followed by the provider name, or Email support. Check a new update after reconnecting.
Snippet stoppedNew visitor activity is no longer arriving.Open snippet settings. Check installation and your site's actual traffic before assuming the snippet was removed.
Flow with no completionsVisitors start a flow but don't reach a recorded end.Open flow to inspect the path and flow activity.
Campaign with no goalA campaign has no goal RightMessage can measure.Add goals opens Campaigns. Attach a relevant goal.
Widget with missing contentThe widget or an eligible flow path has nothing to show.Open widget, Review widgets, or a numbered widget-review link. A multi-widget link filters to the affected widgets.
Flow not identifying contactsRecent runs collect anonymous answers without identifying the contact, which is needed to update their profile.Open flow. Check how visitors identify themselves, as well as how they answer.
Segment groups with no visitorsGroups used by your live setup have no current matches.Review opens Segments. Check the conditions and incoming traffic.

The no-completions check opens after at least 100 executions across three active days within seven days, with no completions. An existing issue can stay open at lower activity levels. A small new flow might not trigger an alert yet.

The unmatched-groups check considers groups used by your live setup that are at least 14 days old. The identification check uses recent identity-health evaluations. These checks use collected evidence rather than assessing every visitor in real time.

A/B test and deployment alerts

Six alerts cover A/B tests in campaigns and deployed winners. Each one has Open A/B test, which opens the campaign's Testing tab. In the titles below, <target> is the tested audience or Original page, and <Campaign> is the campaign name.

Alert titleWhat it meansWhat to do
"A/B test paused: visitors weren't split as expected"The test's split doesn't match its setup, so its results can't be trusted. Your campaign is still running. Urgent.Check the test setup on the Testing tab.
"A/B test paused: some visitors saw more than one version"Some visitors were counted in more than one version. Your campaign is still running. Urgent.Check the test setup on the Testing tab.
"A/B test ready to end"The test has a result. The alert says which versions beat Control, did worse, or had no clear winner.End the test and keep the version you want.
"A/B test isn't counting visitors"The test counted no visitors across at least 100 campaign page views in the last 7 days. The tested element may be missing from the page. Urgent.Check that the tested element is on the page.
"<target> test in <Campaign> can't reach a verdict"The test missed more than 4 weekly checks, or some weekly results arrived too late to count.End the test and choose a version yourself, or restart it.
"Ready to undeploy: your website shows <Variant>"RightMessage found the deployed winner on your website's recent page views.Undeploy it so a new test compares against your updated website.
"<Variant> has been deployed for <N> days. Your website doesn't show it yet."A winner has been deployed for more than 30 days, and RightMessage still shows it to every visitor.Update your website to match, then undeploy it.

A test paused because RightMessage couldn't confirm a publish ("Paused · publish unconfirmed") raises no alert. It isn't a health problem.

Find the affected items

Urgent checks appear first, then older checks within that order. Each affected-item list starts with up to three names. Show all N expands it, and Hide list collapses it.

Opening an item helps you investigate. It doesn't fix the problem or publish a change. If your fix changes the website configuration, test the draft, then publish it.

Hide a check or bring it back

Ignore hides a stored check from the normal list, the status count, and recommendation selection. It doesn't change the affected flow, integration, campaign, or widget.

Show ignored reveals unresolved checks you've hidden. Restore returns one to the normal list. You can still reach this section if you've ignored every stored check. The dashboard's recovery row for a confirmed inactive snippet has no Ignore control.

Not now on a promoted attention recommendation also ignores the check. On an ordinary optimization idea, the same label snoozes it for seven days instead.

When you don't see a warning

An empty section means no outstanding checks are displayed. To check a particular path, try it as a visitor and confirm that the expected data reaches your email platform.

Needs attention appears in the dashboard. RightMessage doesn't currently send separate urgent attention emails. A weekly performance report can still include the attention count.
