Use Growth Ideas to draft useful content

You'll turn what your visitors share into a content draft, then work with Righty to make it useful for your audience.

Turn what visitors tell you, and how they use your site, into a draft you can use in your next post or email. Growth Ideas carries an idea and its supporting data into Righty, so you don't have to start from a blank page.

You'll need a project with access to Growth Ideas and enough audience or activity data to suggest an idea. For changes to a flow, form, or campaign instead, use Optimizations.

1. Open an idea

  1. Open Growth Ideas under Optimize.
  2. Read an idea's title, explanation, and supporting measurements.

Righty's Daily Idea Well labels ideas as Content Idea, Audience, Messaging, or Opportunity. Read the evidence on the card itself. A date range selected in another report doesn't change that comparison.

For WorkForge (opens in a new tab), answers about struggling to see project progress could suggest an article about sharing project updates. Check that the people behind the idea are the audience you'd like to reach.

2. Choose what to write

Choose the action for the content you want, such as Newsletter article. It starts a new Righty conversation with the idea and its evidence. You can choose another action later to start a separate conversation without replacing your existing draft.

What each content action asks for

LinkedIn post asks for a hook and a closing question or call to action, aiming for fewer than 1,300 characters.

Twitter/X thread asks for five to seven numbered tweets, each under 280 characters.

Newsletter article asks for a subject-line suggestion and a 300-to-500-word article.

Email sequence asks for three emails with subject lines, moving from the problem to useful advice and a call to action.

Lead magnet idea asks for a title, outline, suitable format, and explanation of why it fits the audience.

Blog outline-solid asks for a title, meta description, sections, key points, and a call to action. That's the current button label.

Video script idea asks for a three-to-five-minute outline with a hook, talking points, timestamps, and visual suggestions.

Sales email asks for a short email with a value proposition and a specific next step, aiming for fewer than 200 words.

Custom gives Righty the idea and asks what you want to create. Reply with your format, audience, and requirements.

These lengths guide the draft. They aren't enforced limits, so check the text before using it.

3. Make the draft your own

Keep talking with Righty. Ask it to use your voice, keep the measured facts, and remove claims the evidence doesn't support.

Check the statistics, audience description, links, and call to action yourself. An observed difference between audiences doesn't show that a message caused more conversions, and an answer from some visitors doesn't describe everyone.

4. Use your draft

Copy the reviewed text into your publishing or email tool. RightMessage doesn't publish to LinkedIn or Twitter/X, and these actions don't send an email campaign.

If ideas are still loading or the page is empty

The page shows its last update and a countdown to the next UTC day. This schedule is separate from optimization recommendations and their Monday email.

Generating or Analyzing your data means the ideas aren't ready yet. If generation fails, choose Try Again. In No insights available yet, choose Generate Insights to request an updated set. An empty page means there are no ideas to show, not that there are no opportunities.

You now have a draft based on something your audience shared, ready to review in the tool where you'll publish or send it. If you'd like reusable email copy that changes with subscriber data, see personalized emails.
