Review and act on optimization recommendations

You'll use Righty's recommendations to choose a change, build it as a draft, and check it before it goes live.

Righty's recommendations help you decide what to improve using the activity your website has collected. You can turn an idea into a draft, check the changes, and publish when you're happy with them.

Start with a working, published flow and access to edit the items the recommendation covers. Optimizations is available on every plan, though a particular idea can need a feature your project doesn't include.

1. Pick an idea to work on

  1. Open Optimizations under Optimize, or choose Review in the dashboard's Recommended action section.
  2. Read the recommendation's title, reasoning, evidence, and measurement dates.
  3. Choose one change to work on, so you can compare it without unrelated edits getting in the way.

The dates belong to the saved recommendation. Changing the dashboard's date range doesn't change them.

For example, WorkForge (opens in a new tab) might see a recommendation to test its form wording because plenty of people see the form but few opt in. That's a reason to inspect the offer and audience, not a guarantee that new wording will work better.

The recommendation reference explains plan requirements, card states, dismissing or snoozing ideas, the all-time completion count, and when new ideas appear.

2. Let Righty plan the change

Choose Build with Righty. Righty opens the recommendation's conversation, outlines a plan, and asks any clarifying questions. It waits for your explicit approval in that conversation before editing anything.

Read the plan and tell Righty to proceed when it matches what you want. If the card offers an upgrade instead, it shows which plan the recommendation needs.

3. Check the draft

After Righty applies the changes, read its change receipt and open the affected questions, offers, or other items. Check both the path you intended and important fallback paths.

If you leave and come back, Build with Righty on an In draft card resumes the same conversation. The dashboard calls this Continue draft.

For a draft split test, Review and start opens its review page without starting or publishing it. Reviewing and starting split tests requires Pro. For an on-site check, use the dashboard's Preview or the item's own preview. Optimization cards don't have the dashboard's on-site preview control. Testing your changes explains how to check the draft on your website.

4. Publish when you're happy with it

Review the project changes and publish. The review covers the whole project draft, not only Righty's last message.

If Righty created a draft A/B test, starting it is a separate action. Publishing alone doesn't start the test. Follow the split-test lifecycle reference to review and start it.

Once the change is live, see how your flow is doing before deciding whether it helped.
