September 2025 — Multi-select questions, tag syncing, and better email editing
Let visitors choose every answer that fits, map their answers to tags, and edit personalized emails without losing paragraph formatting.

View as MarkdownYou don't have to make visitors pick just one answer when several apply. September added multi-select questions and tag-based answer syncing, along with fixes for personalized email editing and contact data that wasn't staying in sync.
Let visitors choose every answer that fits
Turn on Allow multiple answers in a multiple-choice question to let visitors select several buttons or images before continuing. They can also select Other and write an answer alongside their choices, and each selected option can contribute to your quiz scores. Multi-select questions continue along one path; use a condition afterward when you want to branch based on their choices. Set up a multi-select question.
Turn answers into tags in your email platform
You can now map each answer to a tag or list instead of storing everything in a custom field, where your connected platform supports it. Choose the destination under Sync mode in your question's sync settings; mapped tags are added or removed as the visitor's selections change. If you prefer a custom field, multiple answers can be saved together as comma-separated values. Map answers to your email platform.
Keep personalized email paragraphs intact
Personalized email blocks now preserve the full default text and its formatting, including content that spans several paragraphs. Preview highlighting and spacing were also fixed, so checking a personalized passage doesn't introduce oversized gaps or lose its fallback copy. The variation filters now let you select several values for the same field without hiding all matching variations. See the personalized email editor.
Create a widget and its flow together
The New widget page now starts with the placement you want, then lets you attach an existing flow or choose Create a new flow. RightMessage suggests a name based on your choices and checks for duplicate widget names. When you add a widget from an existing flow, that flow is already selected, so you don't have to choose it again. Create a widget and attach a flow.
Identify an existing contact with one browser command
Your developer can now look up a contact by email and identify the current visitor in a single JavaScript command, rather than handling those as separate steps. It works with integrations that support email lookup and supports either a callback or a promise. See the browser JavaScript commands.
Smaller improvements and fixes
- Questions now support a rich-text description, including different descriptions in an A/B test.
- When an identified visitor has saved contact data, their segments now reflect that data instead of conflicting answers left in their browser.
- Changed answers now sync correctly to Kit when a widget asks a known question again.
- HighLevel email lookup now searches for the matching address within the connected account.
- Creating a custom field is available again for supported integrations, and numeric field IDs no longer break the field-creation dialog.
- Form submissions now count as completed flows even when a thank-you step or redirect follows.
- Dragging an existing flow step to a new drop point works again.
- Page-path rules using contains preserve surrounding slashes, so a path segment doesn't accidentally match unrelated text.
- Empty image and score settings no longer cause question validation to fail.
