Use the email editor to write a reusable email body and see how it changes for different contacts. Your email platform still manages recipients and delivery.

Find and manage your emails

Connect an email integration before opening the Emails list. You can search names and original content, switch between Grid and List, or open a card to edit its email.

New creates an email and opens its editor. This control is hidden in the public demo. Edit the title to rename an email. More actions offers Delete, which asks for confirmation. Deleting an email in RightMessage doesn't remove content you've already copied into your email platform.

The email selection toolbar has Conditional and AI instead of the Personalize control found in other rich-text fields. Conditions have default content and ordered alternatives. See email conditions for question mapping, advanced rules, and sending-platform syntax.

Edit an existing personalized phrase

Click a phrase token to open its segment group, fallback, and alternative wording. Save Personalization updates the shared phrase everywhere the same reference appears. The group must have segment options.

Empty alternatives use the fallback. If several alternatives match, the first in the configured segment order wins. Preview variations shows wording combinations, and AI Generate suggests alternatives. Personalized phrases covers how to edit and check them.

These controls edit phrases already in the email. The email toolbar has no separate phrase-creation button. Test copied content in your sending platform, because it may not be able to resolve a RightMessage phrase reference.

Get help from AI

The AI personalization dialog needs a mapped question. All its segments start selected. You can choose a smaller set, but generation needs at least one. Use the optional instructions to tell Righty what to focus on.

Suggestions use your selected text, surrounding content, segment information, and mapped email-platform field token. There are no separate tone, length, or style selectors. Check the suggested conditions and fallback before using them.

Righty can also start a conversation about a marketing email or newsletter. Review its writing and test it in your sending platform before sending.

Saving and history

Your edits autosave after a one-second pause. Saving... appears during the save. If you see a save error in the header, resolve it before leaving. Emails save independently of your website's draft-and-publish process.

ShortcutEffect
Control+S or Command+SSave immediately.
Control+Z or Command+ZUndo a content change.
Control+Shift+Z or Command+Shift+ZRedo.
Control+YAlternate redo shortcut.

Content history keeps up to 50 entries and groups typing after a one-second pause. Opening another email clears that history. It's separate from your project's published-version history, so don't use it as a permanent backup.

Preview variables and copy content

Preview renders Liquid with your current test values. In Test Variables, you can choose segment values, edit text variables, expand individual variables, and minimize the panel. The variant count shows possible value combinations. Liquid Error reports parsing or rendering problems.

Copy puts HTML and plain text on your clipboard. It copies the stored email content, not the version currently shown in the preview. Check that your email platform accepts its syntax before sending.

Use Create and export a personalized email for the end-to-end handoff to your sending platform.
