See each visitor's journey, preview personalized emails as you write, and match offer images to your audience. You can also recognize visitors through more forms and across your websites.

View as MarkdownYou can now follow an individual visitor's journey from page views to answers and conversions. November also brings a side-by-side email preview, audience-specific images, and more ways to keep personalization working as visitors move around your websites.
See what each visitor did on your website
Open People to find recent visitors, filter by visitor type, or search by email or page URL. Each profile brings together a session-based Activity timeline, Segmentation, written responses, and available contact data from your connected email platform. The timeline also shows which campaigns ran, whether the visitor saw personalized or holdback content, and which campaign goals they completed. Explore visitor profiles.
Preview personalized emails while you write
The email editor now puts Email Content beside a live Preview, so you don't have to switch views to check your wording. Change the test values to try different answers and contact details, with personalized content highlighted and a count of the possible variations. You can also create an email directly from Emails, without a separate setup page. Get to know the email editor.
Match your offer's image to the visitor
Your offer can now change its image as well as its wording. Under Image, choose Changes by answer, pick the question or segment group, and assign an image to each audience; visitors without a matching image see your default. See offer personalization settings.
Recognize visitors through more website forms
Unbounce and GoHighLevel forms now support automatic email capture for visitor identification. For other forms, the optional Email Watcher in General settings can recognize an email when someone leaves the field or presses Enter—even before they submit the form. Captured form emails also appear in analytics when you haven't connected an email platform. Learn how form identification works.
Keep visitor context across your websites
Visitors can carry their saved segmentation and contact identity between domains through RightMessage offers and redirects, and between subdomains through ordinary navigation. With the same project's snippet on those pages, you can keep the next step relevant without asking the same questions again. Visitor identity also carries over for analytics, avoiding duplicate counts caused by those domain changes. Read about visitor identity.
Show custom content from a flow
A Code node can now display returned HTML or a page element inside your widget, instead of only running an action in the background. Use AI Generate to draft or revise its JavaScript, and draw on question answers, contact fields, and tags to tailor what it shows. See the Code node API.
Embed a widget without an HTML block
You can now paste a widget's ID as plain text into your page and let RightMessage replace it with the widget—useful when your page builder makes custom HTML awkward. You can also enable, disable, duplicate, or delete widgets directly from the flow builder's widget drawer. See your embedding options.
Smaller improvements and fixes
- Bento and Customer.io event actions now accept extra key/value details, including dynamic values from Liquid.
- ActiveCampaign connections now load all tags, lists, forms, and custom fields, and correctly apply tags beyond the first 100.
- Customer.io contact lookup now supports custom contact IDs, and events without extra attributes send correctly.
- New input-question mappings to native contact fields, such as first and last name, now sync correctly.
- Flow previews can restart without reopening the preview, and no longer inherit saved cross-subdomain cookie data.
- The visual editor now loads sites that already have RightMessage installed, and can reload a fresh copy after you change your page.
- An invalid page selector no longer prevents subsequent personalizations from running.
- Typing in condition notes, data actions, and code editors is more responsive.
- Form-submission widget triggers now work without a connected email platform.
