Install RightMessage on Framer
You'll add RightMessage to your Framer site once, then check that it follows visitors as they move between pages.

View as MarkdownAdd RightMessage to your Framer site so you can ask questions, show offers, and personalize your pages. RightMessage handles Framer's page changes automatically, so you don't need a separate page-reset script.
Add the snippet to your site
You'll need a RightMessage project and permission to edit Custom Code and publish your Framer site. Check that your plan includes custom code. Framer's custom-code guide (opens in a new tab) doesn't name a minimum tier, but a custom domain requires a paid plan (opens in a new tab).
- In RightMessage, select your project and open Project settings (the gear at the bottom of the sidebar), then Website & install.
- Under Install snippet, keep Live site selected and choose Copy to copy the full snippet.
- In Framer, open Project Settings > Custom Code.
- Choose Add Script, or + if you already have scripts.
- Name it
RightMessageand paste the full snippet. - Choose a location inside the site's
<head>and keep it set to the whole site. - Set it to run Once, not Run on every page visit.
- Save the script and publish to the domain your visitors use.
Use one site-wide copy. Remove any older RightMessage navigation workaround, and don't reload the snippet or call a reset on each page visit. RightMessage listens for navigation changes, including Back and Forward, then updates the page context and checks what to show.
A page-specific installation starts RightMessage only when that page loads. Site-wide code lets it run wherever someone arrives. Any questions, offers, or personalizations you've already published in RightMessage can appear once the snippet runs.
Check that it's working
- Open the published site outside the editor. Follow your consent prompt if it controls the snippet.
- Follow an internal link, then try Back and Forward.
- In RightMessage, open Project settings > Website & install. The status at the top says RightMessage is installed once your first pageview arrives. While it says Waiting for your first pageview, it checks again by itself, or you can choose Check now.
RightMessage is installed means it's receiving data. Use the debugger to check which widgets and personalizations appear as you move between pages.
If no data arrives, follow installation troubleshooting.
