Recover account, invitation, or project access

If you can't sign in or reach your project, you'll find the right fix for password, invitation, setup, billing, and suspension messages.

Get back into your account or project by following the message you're seeing. If sign-in works but the project is missing or blocked, start with its invitation, billing, or suspension message rather than resetting your password.

Sign-in rejects my email or password

  1. Check your email spelling on Sign in (opens in a new tab).
  2. If you don't know the password, choose Reset your password.
  3. Follow the link sent to that account's inbox.

Your password may be incorrect, or you may be using a different email from the one on your account. The reset-request confirmation deliberately doesn't reveal whether an address exists.

See password recovery for the full procedure. If you no longer control the inbox, contact support instead of creating a replacement paid account.

Sign-in asks for a two-factor code

If you turned on two-factor authentication, Two-factor authentication appears after your password.

  1. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app in Authentication code, then choose Verify and sign in.
  2. Don't have your phone? Choose Use a recovery code instead and enter one of the recovery codes you saved when you set it up.
  3. Back to sign in returns to the email and password form.

A password reset doesn't skip this step. If you've lost both your authenticator and your recovery codes, contact support.

Signup says an account already exists

Use Log in instead or Reset your password to return to your existing account.

Ordinary signup rejects an email already associated with an account. Its recovery message states that no charge occurred.

Agency signup has a separate existing-account recovery state. It says that no new account or trial was created. Use the existing login and ask the agency which project you should access.

If you see a pricing-load, payment, or security-check error instead, follow the retry action shown for that error. Repeatedly starting registration won't resolve a duplicate-email problem.

Website research is stuck during setup

Continue with starter playbooks if you'd like to build while research is unavailable. If asked, enter the required business context yourself. The recovery panel may also let you retry or correct the Website URL.

Slow or failed research doesn't always block account creation. A generic starter draft means you can start building, not that RightMessage successfully researched your site.

See account creation for the onboarding choices.

My project invitation doesn't work

If the invitation expired or was removed, ask the project owner for a fresh link. If the project is suspended, contact support instead.

Once you have a valid invitation:

  1. Open it and enter the exact email address that was invited.
  2. If you already have an account, enter its existing password. Otherwise, choose a password.
  3. Accept the invitation. If you already had an account, sign in when prompted.

Invitations expire after seven days. A removed invitation or suspended project can also make the link unavailable.

Accepting an invitation doesn't give an existing user a new password. Use password reset if you need one.

I can sign in, but I can't find the project

Open the project switcher, or Your account > Projects (the avatar at the bottom of the sidebar opens Your account). Then check that you accepted the invitation with the intended email address.

Projects lists every project you own or work on, with your role on each, such as Owner or Collaborator, owned by the owner's name. If a project you expect isn't there, the owner may have removed your membership, and they'll need to restore it. See collaborator invitations.

The app shows an expired trial or payment block

Use billing troubleshooting. If you have other projects, the blocking screen can let you switch to one of them.

Your trial has expired, Your subscription has ended, and Your payment needs attention are billing states. A collaborator may need the owner to resolve them. A password reset won't help.

If a no-card trial ended without a confirmed plan, you can still sign in. The dashboard shows Your trial ended on date, and the project owner or a billing manager can choose Enter your card details or Confirm your plan there to unlock it. See when your trial ends without a plan.

The message says my account or project is suspended

Contact support@rightmessage.com. There's no self-service control to remove a suspension. Don't change plans or create replacement projects to bypass it.

Suspension is different from ordinary billing inactivity. An account suspension can sign you out and block signed-in access. A suspended project can also block invitations, hosted pages, and previews.

I still need help

Send support your login email, project name or public ID if you know it, the exact error, and when it happened. Say whether you're stuck at signup, sign-in, invitation acceptance, billing, or suspension.

Don't send passwords, reset tokens, card numbers, or visitor exports.
