Build a landing page with Pages
You'll have Righty build a landing page in your brand, change anything on it by clicking, and publish it at your own address with your form and personalization already working.
You want a page for every ad, offer, or webinar. You don't want to rebuild your brand in a page builder each time, then wire up a form and personalization on top. With Pages, you describe the page, Righty builds it in your colors and fonts, and RightMessage hosts it at your own address. Your form, audiences, and A/B tests work on it from the start, because they're the same ones you use on your website.
You'll find Pages in the sidebar, under Convert. Every plan can build and publish pages. Showing different content to different audiences on a page starts on Scale, and A/B testing a page needs Pro.
Start a new page
- Open Pages and choose New page, or Create your first page if you haven't made one yet.
- Keep Your brand and a brief selected, and tell Righty in What is the page for? who the page is for and what it should get them to do. We already know your business from your website, so a sentence or two is enough.
- Under What should visitors do?, choose Fill in a form, Take a quiz, Answer a survey, or Click through. Righty makes a new form, quiz, or survey for the page unless you pick one you already have. For Click through, enter the
https://address the button should open. - Optionally, add up to three Pages you like. We screenshot them for their look and never copy another site's words.
- Check the name and address. Righty suggests both from your brief, and the address follows the name until you change it.
- Choose Create and build.
Righty may ask a few questions first, such as which sections to include or which fields your form needs. Every question is optional: answer what you like, then choose Build page, or choose Skip questions.
Unless your brief already settles it, one question asks how closely the page follows your website:
- Your website’s style, the default: your colors, fonts, and buttons, in a layout made for this page.
- Like a page on your website: a close copy, with your website’s own header, footer, and fonts.
- Each page you added under Pages you like, to follow its look instead.
- Something new: a look that copies neither your website nor those pages.
A brief that clearly asks for a copy, such as "copy our website" or "make it look like a page on our site", gets the close copy without the question. Asking to "match our brand", or for a page "inspired by" or "in the style of" your website, doesn't settle it, so you still get the question.
A close copy starts with your website's header and ends with its footer, rebuilt as page sections you can edit, hide, or delete like any other. Their links point to your website. Forms and theme switches in them are left out. If your website was last captured before October 30, 2026, choose Capture again from your website in site styles first. Older captures don't include the header, footer, or font files.
The editor opens straight away and Righty builds the page in front of you. It takes a few minutes. You can keep editing while it works. When the build is done, Righty sets up any audiences or A/B tests your brief asked for, then builds the quiz or survey flow, all as drafts.
Use site styles is on by default, so the page uses your site styles: the colors and fonts we captured from your website. The panel beside the form previews them as a sample headline, body text, and button in your fonts and colors. Turn it off to let Righty design a look of its own from your brief and the pages you like.
To reuse a page you've already built, choose An existing page instead, pick it under Which page?, and choose Create page. It copies that page's layout, forms, and look into a new page, with no build.
If Righty couldn't start building, the editor says so and offers Continue building.
Change anything by clicking it
Click any element on the page to select it. A toolbar appears just above it, and the element window opens to its right, or below it when there's no room on the right. For an element as wide as the page, the window opens beside where you clicked.
The toolbar lets you:
- Drag the grip to move the element somewhere else on the page. Press Escape to cancel a drag.
- Select its parent, to work on the section around it.
- Hide it, or delete it. A deleted element comes back with Undo on the notice that follows.
The element window has the rest:
- Ask Righty to change it: describe what you want, like "Make this punchier", and choose Ask.
- Edit text to type in place, or double-click the text on the page. A formatting bar gives you bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and links. Press Enter to save, or Escape to discard.
- Replace image to choose a new image from your media library.
- A/B test this element to test a change to it. See Personalize and test the page.
- Hide on this page, Duplicate, Move up and Move down (Alt+↑ and Alt+↓), and Remove.
When the pointer rests on an element, Change with Righty appears beside it. It's a shortcut to the same request.
Made a mistake? Press Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) to undo, and Shift+Cmd+Z to redo. Version history in the toolbar lists every version of the page, so you can look at an earlier one and restore it. If the page changed after the change you're undoing, the editor asks you to open Version history instead. The settings reference lists every shortcut.
Ask Righty for bigger changes
For changes across the whole page, open Righty with Cmd+/ (Ctrl+/ on Windows) and ask in plain words: "Add a frequently asked questions section", "Make every button rounder", or "Rewrite the hero for agency owners". Righty edits the draft, and you see each change land on the canvas.
Righty can also generate images for the page, fix how it looks on phones, and change your page's form. It never publishes, changes your domains, or edits scripts. See Righty, your AI assistant for how conversations work.
Edit the form on your page
A page's form, quiz, or survey belongs to that page. It's edited with the page, it takes its look from the page, and it isn't listed under Widgets.
Hover over the form to see Edit Flow (for a quiz, survey, or a form built as a one-step flow) or Edit Form. Click the form to open its window, where you can:
- Ask Righty for a change, such as "Add a phone field".
- Edit in the flow builder or Edit the form.
- Edit CSS to adjust its styles in the Code view.
- Remove from page. The form stays in Page settings, so Undo puts it back.
In the flow builder, a page's flow shows Pages › your page › your flow at the top, and Preview opens the page editor in Preview, because the form only looks right on its page. Submissions go to your email platform the same way they do from any other form.
Check it on every screen
Switch the editor to Preview to click through the page as a visitor would. The toolbar switches the canvas between Desktop, Tablet, and Phone widths, and between light and dark mode. On Phone, if something is wider than the screen, the toolbar warns you with Wider than a phone screen.
Open in new tab opens your draft at its real address, before you publish. The link works for an hour and shows only this page's current draft.
Personalize and test the page
The Audiences panel on the left starts on Page, which is what everyone sees. Add an audience to show different content to people who come from a particular ad or campaign, or who you already know something about. Then pick that audience and change the page: only visitors in it see those changes.
To test a change, choose A/B test this page from the Page row, or A/B test this element in an element's window. The test opens Variant A for you to change. If the test doesn't measure anything yet, the Test panel asks what to measure: Form submissions on this page or Clicks on an element. After that, the panel sums up the test: its versions and split, and anything that stops it starting. Review and start, Review test, or Review deployment for a deployed winner opens the full test card in a window, where you set the split, check the estimate, and start, end, or remove the test.
Audiences on a page go live on the Scale and Pro plans. On Grow, they stay in your draft and don't go live. Starting an A/B test requires Pro, though you can set one up on any plan. Audiences and A/B testing a page or audience explain both in depth.
Publish your page
Pages go live with the rest of your project. When you have unpublished changes, the Publish bar appears at the bottom of the screen. Choose Publish and review what's going out: page changes are grouped under Pages, Site styles, and Project scripts, and a new page shows the address it Goes live at.
The review also warns you about two things before you publish:
- Some pages still have placeholders to fill: spots Righty left for a testimonial, logo, statistic, price, or image. They stay hidden from visitors until you fill them.
- Some campaign changes will stop applying: your page edits removed an element a campaign changes.
Pages publish on every plan. If something holds your page changes back, the review says Your page changes won't go live. Your other changes still publish, and your page drafts are kept.
Once published, your page lives at your project's RightMessage address, like:
You can change that subdomain or serve your pages on a domain of your own in Page domains.
To take a page down, choose Unpublish from its menu in the Pages list. Its address shows a not-found page within a minute, and the draft stays. Choose Include in next publish when you want it back.
Your own visits count in page stats too. To leave them out, open your page once with #rm_exclude=1 on the end of its address. Exclude test visitors explains how.
Find and manage your pages
The Pages list shows each page's status, live address, and its visitors and conversions for the date range you pick. A conversion is a visitor who submitted a form or clicked through on that page. A long address is cut short; hover over it to see all of it.
Filter by status or search by name or address. Each page's menu has Edit page, Page settings, Unpublish or Include in next publish, and Delete.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live | Visitors see this page as it is now. |
| Changes to publish | Live, with edits that go live when you publish. |
| Draft | Goes live the next time you publish. |
| Offline | Unpublished. Its address shows a not-found page. |
When your page opens at its address and a test submission lands in your email platform, it's working. Next, set up its title, social image, and scripts.
