This page lists what you can set on a page, across all your pages, and on your pages' address. Build a landing page with Pages walks through making one.

Pages is on every plan. Audiences on a page go live from Scale, and A/B tests from Pro; see Publishing and plans.

Page settings

Open Page settings from the cog in the editor's toolbar, or from a page's menu in the Pages list. It isn't available while you're editing an audience.

Name and address

SettingWhat it doesRules
NameWhat you call the page. Visitors don't see it.1 to 120 characters.
AddressThe path after your pages' host, such as /spring-offer./, or up to five lowercase parts of letters, numbers, and hyphens, like /offer or /guides/free-guide. Up to 255 characters, unique in the project. Paths under /_rm are reserved.

Choose Save to apply them. Moving a live page redirects its old address to the new one once you publish. If the move means a campaign's page rules stop covering the page, or restarts a running A/B test's measurement, Move page asks you to confirm first. Campaign changes made for the page move with it.

You can also rename a page from its name at the top of the editor.

Look

Use site styles is on for most pages: the page takes its colors and fonts from the shared site styles. Turn it off to give this page its own look. It starts as a copy of the current site styles, and the same fields as Site styles appear here for this page alone. Site style changes don't affect a page with its own look.

Turning Use site styles back on drops the page's own colors and fonts. Undo or Version history brings them back.

Search and sharing

These fields save when you leave them.

Forms

The forms, quizzes, and surveys that belong to this page. They're edited with the page and aren't listed under Widgets. Each one says whether it's on the page. Edit content opens it. A form that's no longer on the page can be deleted here; its form or flow content stays in your project.

Scripts

Scripts run only on the published page, never in the editor or previews. That keeps a chat widget or analytics tag from firing while you work.

FieldUse it forLimit
In the headAnalytics and tag managers.64 KB
At the end of the bodyChat widgets and other scripts that can load last.64 KB

Choose Save scripts to keep them. Scripts that should run on every page go in Settings › Website & install › Scripts on hosted pages. A page's own scripts come after those. Righty and AI assistants can't read or change scripts.

Delete a page

Delete page permanently deletes the page and its version history. Its address stops working right away, even before you publish, and you can't undo it. If a campaign was made for the page, you can delete it too. A campaign whose A/B test is running can't be deleted until you end the test.

Site styles

Site styles are the colors, fonts, and images your pages share. We capture them from your website when you create your project, so your first page already looks like your brand. Open them with Site styles on the Pages list.

Starting values apply only when we couldn't capture your website. The preview at the top of Site styles shows a headline, body text, and a button in the fonts and colors your pages use. A brand font Google doesn't host, such as Satoshi, loads from your website's own font files when the capture could copy them. Otherwise it shows as the free font its name points to, or as the system font when there's none, and the preview tells you which. A page with its own look doesn't load your website's font files. Changes save as you make them and reach live pages when you publish.

Capture again from your website reads your website's colors, fonts, and corner radius again. It also copies your website's header, footer, and font files again, which pages built as Like a page on your website use. Captures made before October 30, 2026 don't include them. Your logo, favicon, and site CSS stay as they are.

The Code view holds the site CSS that every page using the site styles loads. Choose Save CSS to keep your edits.

Dark mode colors

Visitors whose device is set to dark mode see your light colors until you add dark ones. Switch Site styles to Dark and choose Add dark mode colors. We make a dark palette from your light colors, raising contrast so text stays readable, and you can change any of its six colors. Fonts, corners, and images are shared with the light look. Remove dark mode colors takes them away again.

A page with its own look has its own dark colors, in Page settings. In the editor, switch the canvas to dark mode to check a page: the bar under the toolbar links to wherever that page's dark colors live. The switch also applies any dark or light mode rules (prefers-color-scheme) in the page's CSS and the site CSS, whatever your own device is set to.

Custom CSS follows the dark colors when it colors things through the color variables, such as var(--rm-color-text) or var(--rm-color-brand), instead of fixed colors.

Page domains

Every project gets its own RightMessage subdomain for its pages, like workforge.rightmessage.page. Manage it, and add a domain of your own, in Settings › Page domains. Changes here take effect right away, without publishing.

Your RightMessage address

Change subdomain picks a new one. A subdomain is 3 to 40 lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and can't start or end with a hyphen. Some names, like www, app, or help, are reserved. Links to the old address redirect to the new one, and the old address stays yours.

Your own domain

Serve your pages on a subdomain you own, such as go.workforge.com. A project uses one domain at a time.

  1. Enter it in Your domain and choose Add domain. Root domains such as workforge.com can't point to RightMessage with a CNAME record, so use a subdomain.
  2. At your DNS provider, add the CNAME record shown on the page. Its target looks like p123456.domains.rightmessage.page. Use a CNAME record, not A or ALIAS, and turn off any proxy for it (in Cloudflare, set it to DNS only).
  3. We check automatically and switch your pages over as soon as it works. Check now checks straight away.
StatusWhat's happening
Waiting for DNSWe can't see your CNAME record yet. New records usually appear within minutes, but some providers take a few hours.
Issuing certificateDNS is set up. We're issuing the HTTPS certificate, which usually takes a few minutes.
ActiveYour pages are served over HTTPS at your domain, and your RightMessage subdomain redirects there.
Needs supportSomething we can't fix automatically. Choose Contact support.

If the record is wrong, the page says what we found and what to change. Keep the record in place once the domain is active: removing it takes your pages offline at that domain, and they move back to your RightMessage subdomain.

If you use Cloudflare Turnstile bot protection, add your domain to your Turnstile widget's hostnames, or forms on it won't submit. See bot protection.

Remove disconnects the domain. Links to it stop working, without redirecting, and your pages move back to your RightMessage subdomain.

Editor views and shortcuts

ViewWhat it's for
EditSelect and change elements on the canvas.
PreviewClick through the page as a visitor. The bar at the bottom picks which audience or test version you see.
CodeEdit the page's Page HTML and Page CSS directly, then choose Save or Discard. Scripts and event handlers like onclick are refused; scripts go in Page settings. Code changes the page for everyone, so it's off while you edit an audience.

The toolbar also switches the canvas between Desktop, Tablet (768 pixels wide), and Phone (375 pixels wide), and between Light mode and Dark mode. Hidden elements lists what you've hidden, with Show to bring each back. Open in new tab opens the draft at its real address for an hour.

KeysWhat they do
Cmd+Z (Ctrl+Z)Undo
Shift+Cmd+Z or Ctrl+YRedo
Cmd+/ (Ctrl+/)Open or close Righty
Alt+↑ / Alt+↓Move the selected element up or down
EscapeDeselect, or cancel a drag
Double-clickEdit text in place
Enter / Escape while editing textSave / discard the edit
Cmd+B, Cmd+I, Cmd+UBold, italic, underline
Shift+Cmd+XStrikethrough
Cmd+KAdd or edit a link

Undo and redo pause in Preview, while you edit text, and while Righty is working.

Version history

Version history in the toolbar lists every change to the page's draft, newest first, with who made it: you, Righty, an AI assistant, or a restore. Pick one to look at it on the canvas, then choose Restore this version or Back to current. Restoring adds a new version on top, so nothing is lost.

If the page changed after the change you're undoing, for example in another tab or by Righty, Undo can't step back. The editor says This page changed since. Open Version history to restore an earlier version. Restore the version you want from there.

Audience changes aren't versions here. They show in the publish review instead.

Publishing and plans

Pages go live when you publish your project, on every plan. When billing or a suspension holds pages back, or the project has no plan yet, the rest of your changes still publish and your page drafts are kept. If your plan lapses or you cancel, your published pages stay live; you'll need an active plan to publish changes to them again.

A page can also stay as it was when it can't publish, for example when its form's widget is turned off. The publish result names the page and the reason.

Audiences on a page go live on the Scale and Pro plans; on Grow they stay in your draft. Starting an A/B test requires Pro. When your plan drops, the audiences or tests it no longer includes come off your live page automatically and stay in your draft, and the page itself stays live. Publish your page covers the publish review and unpublishing.
