Preview and install a flow template

You'll choose a ready-made flow, install your own editable copy, and adapt its questions, offers, and placement before publishing.

Start with a ready-made flow instead of building every step yourself. Installing a template gives you an editable copy you can adapt to your audience, wording, and pages. Your changes won't affect the original template.

You'll need editing access to the project. A template can include questions, offers, forms, and widgets, so plan to check the whole flow and set up your own integration mappings and website placement.

Find a template that fits

  1. Open your project's Templates route. From a project URL ending in /dashboard, replace that final part with /templates.
  2. Search by template title.
  3. Open a card that fits what you'd like to build.
  4. Read the flow canvas. Use its zoom controls to follow each path.
  5. If an interactive preview is available, answer the questions to try it.

Cards describe what the template is for. They can show Survey, Quiz, Assessment, Funnel, or Automation badges, but the gallery doesn't have an active category filter.

The preview is read-only, and some templates hide it. Offer steps don't accept interactions, so you can't test an offer or submit a real form there. Reload Preview takes you back to the start. Back to Templates returns to the gallery.

Install your own copy

  1. Choose Install Template.
  2. Read the confirmation. It names the template and counts the flow, offers, and question or segment groups it will add.
  3. Choose Install to create your copies, or Cancel to leave the project unchanged.
  4. Review the flow when the builder opens.

RightMessage creates independent copies with new IDs and connects them to each other. Any included widgets point to the new flow. Editing your copies doesn't change the template catalog or anyone else's installation.

Make it yours

  1. Replace the example wording and destinations with your own. Use real pages on your website.
  2. Review every question and branch, including the default path.
  3. Set up your question field mappings so answers can reach the right contact fields.
  4. Check the form actions so submissions go where you want them. Installing a template doesn't configure your external integration for you.
  5. Review the included widgets and where they'll appear. Disable any widget you don't want included in the next publication.

Try it on your site, then publish

Choose Preview on your site to load the draft on your real website with the debugger. Follow each path, check where its buttons lead, and use the debugger to see why each step appears. Testing your changes explains how to try it as different visitors.

When the full flow is ready, review the project changes and publish. Then visit your site like any other visitor to check it live.

When visitors can follow the questions and reach the intended form or page, your copy is working. To give it a standalone rm.page address instead, see hosted pages, including the separate page-publication requirements.
