Build and review changes with Righty
You'll ask Righty to inspect your setup and make a change, then review the draft before you publish it to your website.
Updated
View as MarkdownRighty can help you understand your project and build changes without finding every editor yourself. Tell it what you'd like to do, check what it changes, then publish when you're happy with the draft. Righty can't publish for you.
You don't need to connect an external assistant. Righty works inside your signed-in project and uses its available features and your access.
1. Open Righty
Open the project you want to change. Then open the Righty dock, or press Control + / on Windows or Linux and Command + / on macOS. Need help? in the authenticated top bar starts a new conversation.
The full Righty dock is not available in demo mode, onboarding, or the expired-trial blocking state. In the public demo, Need help? opens the Help Center instead.
2. Ask it to look at what you have
Pick one task and name what should stay unchanged. Our example business, WorkForge (opens in a new tab), might want to ask new visitors about team size before recommending a guide, without changing the path for known contacts.
Start by asking Righty to read the existing flow:
Righty can read your configuration, reports, visitor information, and supported integration data. It can work with flows, questions, segments, forms, offers, widgets, campaigns, goals, phrases, personalized emails, version history, and split tests. The tools it uses depend on the task and your access.
3. Tell it what to change
Once you've checked the explanation, ask for the change:
Answer any clarifying questions. If you started from Build with Righty on an optimization recommendation, Righty first proposes a plan and waits for your explicit approval before changing resources.
Deletions need separate consent through a Needs your OK card, even if you've approved the plan. Read the named action and affected resources before confirming. Cancel declines that pending deletion. You can't undo deletions from chat.
4. Check what changed
- Expand the change card to see what Righty added, updated, or removed.
- Open the affected editors and check the saved settings.
- Check where shared questions and segments are used. One edit can affect several flows.
- Choose Preview on your site to open your draft on your website with the debugger.
- Try the intended path, the fallback, and any paths for known contacts.
The debugger shows what RightMessage knows about the visitor and why it's showing each step. Testing your changes explains how to try each path.
A change card can offer Undo when the current state is still safe to reverse. It isn't available for every edit. The Righty reference explains the approval cards, change records, and undo limits.
5. Publish when you're ready
When the right visitors reach the right questions and offers, review the full project's changes and publish. Righty leaves that publishing step to you. You can also keep the draft and return to it later.
Starting a resource A/B test is separate. If a change card shows Review and start, open the test and review its setup before starting it.
Configuration edits aren't the only actions Righty can take. Integration actions, exports, and support handoffs don't necessarily wait for website publication. See drafts and immediate actions.
Continue the conversation or get help
Resume a recent conversation to keep its context. Use New conversation for a separate task. Close Righty closes the dock without deleting the conversation.
Stop interrupts a running turn but doesn't undo saved work. If Righty stops or reports an error, check the draft and change cards before asking it to repeat the action. Troubleshoot Righty explains what to collect. For help from a person, open Help and choose Email our team.
