July 2026 — Starter playbooks, webhook forms, and cleaner survey testing
Start a new project from a playbook picked for your business, send form submissions to your own tools, and reset your browser's visitor data when you're testing.

View as MarkdownYou can get a new project started with recommendations based on your website, or send form submissions straight to your own tools without connecting an email platform. Testing a survey from the beginning is easier, too.
Start with a playbook for your business
New projects now take you through website research and a choice of three guided starting points: a subscriber survey, page-aware calls to action, or a lead-generation quiz. The recommendations use what RightMessage learns about your business, and you can choose Build from scratch if you'd rather set things up yourself. If website research gets stuck, you can retry it, correct the website address, or keep going; when research fails, you can supply your business details yourself rather than abandon setup. See what to expect from AI onboarding.
Send form submissions directly to your tools
Forms can now send submitted fields and visitor context to a webhook without a native email-platform connection. In your form's Actions editor, choose Send a webhook, enter your destination, and use Payload preview to see the shape of the data you'll receive. You can also include extra data, such as the source of the signup, alongside the submission. See the form submission actions.
Test a survey with a clean visitor state
You no longer need to hunt through browser storage to clear RightMessage's remembered answers, page history, widget dismissals, and local identity. In the on-site debugger, open Visitor, then More actions, and choose Clear this browser's RightMessage data to start again. This clears RightMessage's data in that browser, not your project's reporting history. See how to use the debugger.
Smaller improvements and fixes
- Survey answers from recognized contacts stay connected to their contact record and continue syncing if their saved identity disappears from browser storage during the survey.
- Form action pickers once again let you choose your email platform's forms and other supported destinations instead of showing a plain text field.
- Entering multiple form, list, or tag destinations no longer leaves values in a format that breaks autosave.
- The date picker in Flow Metrics is no longer cut off by the surrounding panel.
- Campaign reporting through your connected AI assistant now distinguishes a failed report request from an empty report, rather than silently returning no data.
