Connect Senja and show relevant testimonials
You'll connect Senja and show visitors testimonials that fit what they've told you, using your existing widgets or Walls of Love.
Updated
View as MarkdownShow visitors testimonials that fit their needs, using the Senja content you've already created. You'll connect Senja, choose a widget or Wall of Love, and place it in the right branch of your flow.
You'll need permission to edit your RightMessage project, the snippet on your website, and a Senja account with content ready to use. Use fictional testimonial content for testing.
Connect your Senja account
Connecting lets you choose your Senja content inside RightMessage. It supplies testimonials, not email contacts or CRM answer sync.
- Find the API key in the Automate section of your Senja account.
- In RightMessage, open Project settings (the gear at the bottom of the sidebar), then Integrations.
- Select the Connected apps tab.
- Beside Senja, choose Connect. The Connect Senja dialog opens.
- Paste the key into API key, then choose Connect.
- The dialog stays open, now titled Senja with a Connected tag. Wait for the content counts, such as "widgets: 3, walls of love: 2 available.", then choose Close.
RightMessage checks access before saving the connection. Keep your API key in the credential field. Don't put it in an AI prompt, flow Code node, or website HTML.
If content won't load, choose Try again when it's available. If the message says "Reconnect this app", paste a valid key into Replace key and choose Save key. Loading content is a separate request from checking the connection.
Choose where to show your testimonials
- Open the flow that should show the testimonial content.
- Add a Senja action where you'd like the content to appear. You'll need the connected account to add it.
- Under Content, choose an existing item from Widgets or Walls of Love.
- To place the content beside a page element, enter one of your real pages in Page URL or path.
- Choose Pick on my site, then select the element and placement.
- Review Pages so the embed runs only on the intended pages.
- Review and publish your changes.
Use a condition or an existing answer to send visitors down the branch with the right Senja action. For example, WorkForge (opens in a new tab) could show remote-team testimonials to visitors who choose the remote-team path. You choose which content belongs on each branch.
The picker shows Above, Below, or Inside for the selected element. Under Advanced, you can inspect or change the CSS selector. A new element-based action starts with placement below the element. You'll still need to choose the content and target.
Floating designs use Senja's own page position instead of an element selector. The editor tells you when Senja controls that position.
Check testimonials on your website
- Open the intended website page as a test visitor who follows the relevant branch.
- Confirm that the selected content appears in the right place.
- Visit an excluded page or follow an excluded branch and confirm the content doesn't appear.
- Repeat at desktop and narrow screen widths.
If an item no longer exists in Senja, RightMessage keeps your saved selection and shows a warning. Choose a current item. The old one won't be replaced automatically.
When the intended visitor sees the selected testimonials in the right place, the setup is working. For other actions you can add to the same flow, see the flow node reference.
Replace your key or disconnect
- On the Connected apps tab, choose Manage connection beside Senja.
- To replace the key, paste the new one into Replace key and choose Save key. To disconnect, choose Disconnect.
Disconnecting doesn't remove published embeds. They can keep running, and you can still edit their saved settings. To stop showing them, remove or change the flow or form embed, then publish.
