Both tools are great for helping delivered a personalized experience on your website. But we do things a bit differently. Here’s what you need to know…
Both RightMessage and ConvertFlow allow you to create a customer journey and lead different people to different offers & opt-ins. ConvertFlow is currently more flexible with regards to design and styling, whereas RightMessage has much more robust full-site personalization support and behavioral segmentation.
We’re big fans of the team at ConvertFlow, and it’s a great (and beautifully designed) product.
ConvertFlow started out primarily as a CTA (call-to-action) tool. They’ve made it easy to create great looking widgets that can be triggered based on data you’re keeping in your email marketing database.
One big difference betweeen the two of us is how we handle segmentation. ConvertFlow, like many other form tools, has rule-based display triggers for each form/campaign and doesn’t really have a centralized way of managing visitor segmentation. This makes segmenting off of behavior, and then falling back to self-segmenting via a survey, pretty much impossible.
Additionally, ConvertFlow isn’t a full site personalization tool. While you can create and embed content areas anywhere on your site, there’s nothing like RightMessage’s “point on anything you want to change on your site and change it” personalization support.
”I use RightMessage and I recommend it to all my clients. It’s one of the most incredible CRO tools I’ve seen and used in a LONG time ”
