Bucket.io makes it easy to set up segmentation quizzes, and is created by the team behind the “Ask Method”. How does RightMessage compare?
Both RightMessage and Bucket.io allow you to set up simple segmentation quizzes and surveys. Bucket.io is more flexibile when it comes to things like images and open-ended text capture for hosted surveys, but falls short with subscriber-awareness, behavioral segmentation, and personalization.
We really like Ryan Levesque, the Ask Method, and Bucket.io. And, depending on your use case (especially for top of funnel lead generation) it might be exactly what you need.
Bucket.io’s big issue, in our mind, is their inability to know: “who is this person, and what do we know about them already?” For example, we’ve received emails that link to a Bucket segmentation quiz, and had to opt-in at the end of the quiz – even though the creator of the quiz had literally just sent us an email!
Additionally, setting up sophisticated flows, including personalized follow-up text in subsequent questions, and syncing answers to your email marketing database is difficult to do with Bucket.io. RightMessage immediately syncs collected answers as segments to your email database, and doesn’t ever ask questions we already know the answer to or show opt-in forms for returning subscribers/customers.
RightMessage also has a beautiful visual flow builder, and it’s a bit cumbersome to set up complex flows with Bucket.io.
”I use RightMessage and I recommend it to all my clients. It’s one of the most incredible CRO tools I’ve seen and used in a LONG time ”
