Selecting, viewing and editing existing personalizations.

The 'Personalizations' section in the campaign admin bar provides options to locate an existing personalization to edit.

In the blue admin bar at the top of the screen, click the toggle arrow.

Note: the ‘Personalizations’ tab will display the number of personalizations available on the page you are currently viewing.

  1. Active On This Page: The list of personalizations available on the current page. Any items with the status ‘(not set up)’, are personalizations that have been created on the page but are not yet configured with any edits.

  2. Not Active On This Page: The list of personalizations available on other pages of your website.

To view a personalization on the page you are viewing, select from one of the highlighted personalizations in the ‘Active On This Page’ section.


The preview pane will highlight the element on the page, and the personalization editing tool will display.


Editing ‘not set up’ personalizations

For a personalization that is not yet configured, click on the personalization to open the personalization editing tool.

Use the personalization editing tool to make changes to the element selected.

Make sure to ‘Publish’ the changes once you are done.


Editing inactive personalizations

For a personalization that is not active on the page you are currently viewing, click on the personalization to open the personalization editing tool.


Use the personalization editing tool to make any necessary changes.

Although you can edit the personalization, you will not be automatically directed to the page where the personalization is located. Use ‘Navigate Mode’ to navigate to the corresponding page, or use the URL field to type in the correct URL.

If you are not sure of the URL where a personalization has been added, click the ‘Affected Pages’ tab to see the page URL(s) where a personalization can be located.
