Adding, editing and deleting segments in your RightAsk campaign
It is possible to adjust a RightAsk segment group to add or delete an answer.

Locate your RightAsk segment group
In your RightMessage dashboard for the website you are personalizing, click ‘Segments’ in the admin bar.
In the left sidebar, click the segment group associated with your RightAsk question.
Add a new segment to your RightAsk segment group
Click the ‘+ Add a new segment’ button on the right side of the main segment creation area to add a new segment to the segment group selected.
A new segment box will appear in the main segment editing area.
Add a name for the segment in the field provided and click the yellow ‘save’ button.
Use the drop down in the segment box to add one or more conditions for the new segment. Fill out the required field(s) for the condition chosen.
To move the new segment into the order you want to show in the RightAsk question box, use the drag and drop icon to move the segment up or down in the order.
To make sure your new segment is saved, click the ‘Publish’ button in the top right corner of the screen.
Add the new segment to RightAsk
Now that the new segment has been created, you can edit the RightAsk question for that segment group to add the new 'answer'.
In the RightMessage admin bar, click 'RightAsk'.
In the top right of the RightBar dashboard area, click the 'Questions' tab.
Click on the RightAsk segment group the new segment has been added to.
A dotted outline will advise there are new segments to add as answers for the RightAsk question. Click the box to add the new segments.
The new segment will be added into the answers list, in the position the new segment was placed.
Click on the segment label to edit the text and create a visitor-facing answer.
Edit the label text and click the yellow 'Save' button once done.
To make sure the new answer for your RightAsk question is saved, click the ‘Publish’ button in the top right corner of the screen.
Delete a RightAsk segment
If you no longer need an answer for your RightAsk question, you can delete the segment from the segment group.
To delete a segment, navigate to the 'Segments' dashboard in your RightMessage admin.
In the left sidebar, click the segment group associated with the RightAsk question
Open the box of the segment you wish to delete and click the trash can icon to the right of the segment name.
Before the segment is deleted, an alert box will appear to confirm that you want to delete the segment. Click ‘OK’ to continue.
RightMessage will delete the segment from the segment group.
Click the ‘Publish’ button to save the changes.
