# RightMessage

RightMessage is website personalization software for marketing teams and agencies: a personalization platform with built-in A/B testing. It adapts existing pages using campaign context, visitor behavior, quiz answers, and connected CRM or email data, on the website a business already has.

## Pricing

Grow $99, Scale $249, or Pro $499 per month, or $79, $199, or $399 per month billed annually. The plans have no per-visitor or contact fees. Website personalization and holdback measurement start on Scale; page and audience A/B tests are on Pro. Lead alerts are an optional add-on on every plan, priced by alerted leads from $49 a month for 50 ($39 a month billed annually), with 1,000 a month included on Pro.

## REST API

- Base URL: `https://api.rightmessage.com/v1`

- Authentication: Personal API tokens only, sent as Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN. Create tokens in the RightMessage app under Your account › API & AI access › API tokens; creating a token needs the Scale or Pro plan. OAuth access tokens from the MCP connection don't work on the REST API.
- Token abilities:
  - `read`: Configuration, analytics, data, and export status GET routes.
  - `write`: Everything read can do, plus creating, updating, and deleting configuration and starting exports.
  - `publish`: Publishing the project draft. It doesn't grant the read or write routes by itself.
  - `*`: Every ability. Tokens created in the app, or without abilities, get this by default.
- Rate limits: 60 requests per minute for Token and OAuth connection management (/tokens, /oauth-connections); 120 requests per minute for Project routes (/{projectId}/...).
- Errors are JSON with a `message`. An unauthenticated request gets 401 with `WWW-Authenticate: Bearer realm="rightmessage-api"`.

## MCP server

- Endpoint: `https://api.rightmessage.com/mcp/rightmessage` (MCP over Streamable HTTP)
- Hosted authentication: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE with scope `mcp:use` and dynamic client registration. Protected resource metadata: https://api.rightmessage.com/.well-known/oauth-protected-resource/mcp/rightmessage
- Manual clients: `Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_TOKEN_HERE` with a personal API token.
- Rate limit: 120 requests per minute
- Availability: MCP server access is included with every RightMessage plan.

Changes made through the REST API or MCP save to the project draft. Publishing is a separate, explicit action.

## What isn't offered

- No sandbox or test-mode API. REST and MCP requests act on real projects; changes stay in the draft until published.
- No agent-to-agent (A2A) agent card and no agent identity or bot-authentication scheme. Agents act as a RightMessage user, with a personal API token or hosted OAuth for MCP.
