# Install RightMessage on Unbounce

You'll add RightMessage to your Unbounce landing page, then check that it can receive visitor data and show your questions and offers.

Add RightMessage to your Unbounce landing page so you can ask visitors questions and show offers that fit them. These steps use Classic Builder. You can also install across a custom domain with Script Manager.

## Add the snippet to your page

You'll need a [RightMessage project](https://rightmessage.com/help/create-an-account), access to Unbounce's script controls, and permission to publish your pages. Unbounce's [Classic Builder script guide](https://documentation.unbounce.com/hc/en-us/articles/203879070-Adding-Custom-JavaScript-and-CSS-in-the-Classic-Builder) doesn't name a separate minimum plan for these controls.

1. In RightMessage, select your project and open **Settings** > **JavaScript Snippet** under **Project**.
2. Keep **Live website** selected and copy the full **Snippet Code**, including its script tags.

3. In Unbounce, open your landing-page variant in **Classic Builder**.
4. Choose **Javascripts** at the bottom left and enter `RightMessage` in **Script Name**.
5. Set **Placement** to **Head**, paste the snippet, and choose **Done**.
6. Choose **Save**, then **Publish** or **Republish**.
7. Add the snippet to each live variant where you want RightMessage to run.

Use one installation per page. Don't combine page-level copies with Script Manager. Questions, offers, and personalizations already published in RightMessage can appear once the snippet runs.

To cover a whole custom domain, use the [Unbounce Script Manager option](https://rightmessage.com/help/everything-you-need-to-know-about-your-rightmessage-tracking-script#unbounce-custom-domains). It can't add scripts to Unbounce's test domain.

## Check that it's working

1. Open a published page where you installed RightMessage. Custom JavaScript doesn't run inside Classic Builder or its preview.
2. Follow your consent prompt if it controls the snippet.
3. In RightMessage, open **Settings** > **JavaScript Snippet** and look for a recent timestamp in **Snippet Health**.

A recent timestamp means RightMessage is receiving data. Use the [debugger](https://rightmessage.com/help/best-practices-for-testing) to see what it's showing on your live domains and variants.

If no data arrives, follow [installation troubleshooting](https://rightmessage.com/help/common-set-up-issues).
