# Project settings reference

Find the setting you need for your project, check snippet activity, and see which changes need publishing.

Use project settings to manage your website, connected tools, access, and billing. These settings belong to the project you've selected. Your personal details and account-level tools live in your profile instead.

Choose the settings gear beside your name to open **General**. **Back to app** returns you to the dashboard.

## Find the setting you need

| If you'd like to… | Open | What you'll find |
| -------------------------------------- | ---------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Change how your project works | **General** | Project name and public ID, your dashboard's **Primary goal**, flow defaults, visitor identification, analytics filtering, bot protection, and the form-submission hook. See [General settings](https://rightmessage.com/help/flow-default-settings). |
| Manage your websites | **Domains** | An ordered domain list. The first domain becomes your default project website when you save. See [domain management](https://rightmessage.com/help/project-domains). |
| Install RightMessage or check activity | **JavaScript Snippet** | Installation code, snippet health, and publish history when records exist. |
| Connect another tool | **Integration** | **Email platforms & CRMs** and **Other integrations**. Connections belong to this project, not your whole login. |
| Save where visitors came from | **Attribution** | Destination-field mappings for acquisition data, such as UTM values and referrer. |
| Tell AI about your business | **AI Settings** | Business type, language, audience, value proposition, offerings, and writing style. See [AI context](https://rightmessage.com/help/ai-context-settings). |
| Change the widget badge | **Powered By** | The [branding setting](https://rightmessage.com/help/project-branding-and-refresh). |
| Refresh changes made elsewhere | **Advanced** | [Automatic refresh](https://rightmessage.com/help/project-branding-and-refresh) of remote configuration changes in the dashboard. |
| Give someone project access | **Collaborators** | Invitations and member removal. You'll need collaborator-management permission to see it. |
| Manage your subscription | **Billing** | The selected project's subscription, if it uses per-project billing and you can manage it. |
| Export data or reset analytics | **Your Data** | AI context and segmentation export, plus permanent analytics reset. You'll need the required permission to see it. |

If you don't see an owner-only page, ask the owner to handle [collaborators](https://rightmessage.com/help/inviting-collaborators-to-your-project), [billing](https://rightmessage.com/help/project-billing-reference), or [data reset](https://rightmessage.com/help/export-or-reset-project-data).

## Connect your tools

Open **Settings**, then **Integration**, and choose a tab.

| If you'd like to… | Use | What happens |
| -------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Connect your email platform or CRM | **Email platforms & CRMs** | Connected providers appear first, marked **Integrated**. Choose a provider to open setup. A locked card shows the required tier and opens plan selection. |
| Connect analytics or another service | **Other integrations** | You'll find analytics toggles, credential-based connections, and **Webhooks**. **Enable** and **Disable** save analytics integration changes to your draft. Publish them to apply the changes to your website. |
| Enter or update connection credentials | **Connect** or **Manage connection** | Enter the requested credentials and choose **Connect**. Existing connections offer **Reconnect** and **Disconnect**. These actions change the connection itself, separately from publishing. If loading fails, choose **Try again**. |
| Set up webhooks | **Webhooks** | Pro projects see the secret manager. Other projects see the plan requirement. |

**Integrated** or **Connected** means the connection is set up. To check that contacts or events reach the other tool, follow [how integrations work](https://rightmessage.com/help/how-integrations-work), your provider's setup article, and [integration testing](https://rightmessage.com/help/verify-an-integration-change).

In the demo, provider cards and connection controls show a demo warning instead of saving credentials. They don't connect real integrations.

## Choose a snippet and check activity

**Live website** gives you the project script for the head of every relevant page. It loads your last published configuration and records analytics.

**Staging / development** gives you a script that uses your latest draft and disables analytics. Choosing it changes the code shown, not your live project's configuration.

![JavaScript installation snippet panel with live website and staging environment controls](https://rightmessage.com/help/screens/settings-snippet.light.webp)

**Snippet Health** shows when RightMessage last received data. If no data has arrived, install the script and visit your site.

![Snippet Health showing the last data receipt timestamp for the local example project](https://rightmessage.com/help/screens/account-snippet-health.light.webp)

**Publish History** appears when records exist. It shows **Published** and **Message**, with **No message provided** for a blank message. You'll see ten records per page. The table says the last 25 versions are retained for rollback, but it doesn't have a rollback button.

Follow [installation and first setup](https://rightmessage.com/help/getting-started-with-rightmessage) before using the live snippet.

## Collaborator invitation limits

Current Grow, Scale, and Pro plans don't cap the number of collaborators. Invitation safety limits still apply, using rolling windows.

| Limit | Restricted account | Standard account |
| --------------------------------------------- | ------------------ | ---------------- |
| Invitations per sender per hour | 3 | 20 |
| Invitations per sender per day | 5 | 50 |
| Invitations per project per day | 5 | 50 |
| Invitations from the same IP address per hour | 5 | 30 |

Restricted accounts include unverified accounts, accounts less than seven days old, and projects without a paid subscription. If you hit a limit, follow the message and wait before trying again. Repeated blocked attempts can lead to suspension.

An unverified account can send two invitations to external recipients before email verification is required. A different email domain counts as external. Addresses at a shared mailbox provider count as external even when they match your domain.

Verification links last 24 hours, and you can request up to three per hour. An existing member or a pending invitation to the same address blocks another invitation.

An invitation is unavailable after seven days or while the project is suspended. An expired link needs a fresh invitation from the owner. A suspended project needs support.

## Find your personal settings

**Your profile** opens **Personal & Password**, **Owned Projects**, **AI Connections**, and **API Tokens**. Agency-enabled accounts also have **Agency Settings** and **Agency Clients**. Legacy account billing appears there as **Billing & Invoices**.

See [profile settings](https://rightmessage.com/help/updating-your-profile), [API tokens](https://rightmessage.com/help/api-tokens-and-permissions), or [AI authorization](https://rightmessage.com/help/mcp-authorization-reference) for those account-level tasks.

## Know when to publish

Configuration edits save a draft. [Publish](https://rightmessage.com/help/publishing-your-changes) applies site-facing changes to normal live visitors. Profile forms, invitations, project metadata, billing, and analytics exclusions have their own save paths. Removing a collaborator doesn't wait for publishing, and saving a flow setting doesn't make it live.
