# Manage project domains and their order

You'll add your websites to a project, put your main domain first, and remove addresses you no longer use.

Keep the websites you use with a project together in **Domains**. The first domain in the saved list becomes the project's default website.

Select the project you want to edit. Keep unrelated client businesses in [separate projects](https://rightmessage.com/help/creating-and-deleting-projects).

## Add your website

1. Open **Settings**, then **Domains**.
2. To add a domain, choose **Add another domain** under **Domain Names**. To edit one, use its existing field.
3. Enter your own website's domain, replacing the example value if you added a row.
4. Click outside the field and let the draft save.

For [WorkForge](https://workforge.rightmessage.com), the main site and a related landing-page domain belong in this list. Adding a domain doesn't create a separate snippet. [Install the project's snippet](https://rightmessage.com/help/getting-started-with-rightmessage) on the pages where you need RightMessage.

This page keeps your domain list. It doesn't install the snippet, configure DNS, issue SSL certificates, or verify domain ownership.

## Change the default website

1. Find the domain you want to use as the project's default website.
2. Drag its handle to the first row.
3. Let the draft save.

When the saved list has at least one domain, its first entry also updates the project's website. Put your main site first, not an old testing domain.

## Remove a domain

The trash icon removes a row immediately, without asking you to confirm.

1. Check that you're removing the right domain.
2. Choose the trash icon beside it.
3. Review the remaining order, especially the first row.

Your domain edits save to the project draft. [Review and publish](https://rightmessage.com/help/publishing-your-changes) before relying on the changes on your live site.

There isn't a separate cross-domain tracking switch on this page. Adding two domains doesn't identify an unknown visitor across both sites. See [how RightMessage identifies visitors](https://rightmessage.com/help/how-do-we-identify-returning-subscribers-or-contacts).
