# Manage project branding and automatic refresh

You'll choose whether your widgets show the RightMessage badge and keep your dashboard up to date when teammates or connected tools make changes.

You can hide the RightMessage badge on your widgets and choose whether your dashboard refreshes when someone else edits the project.

The badge setting is in **Powered By**. Automatic refresh is in **Advanced**. Neither changes your plan or automatically publishes a draft.

## Show or hide the widget badge

Open **Settings**, then **Powered By**.

| If you'd like to... | Set **Hide 'Powered By' Badge?** to |
| ---------------------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------- |
| Show the RightMessage badge at the bottom of widgets | Off. The badge can include your account's affiliate ID. |
| Remove the badge from this project's widgets | On. |

The badge stays visible unless you turn on the hide setting. To edit your affiliate ID, open **Your profile**, then [Personal & Password](https://rightmessage.com/help/updating-your-profile).

Badge changes save to your draft. [Publish the changes](https://rightmessage.com/help/publishing-your-changes) to apply them to normal live visitors.

## Keep up with changes from teammates and tools

Open **Settings**, then **Advanced**.

**Auto refresh project configuration data from server** is on unless you've turned it off.

| Setting | What happens in your dashboard |
| -------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Enabled | Your dashboard refreshes when another collaborator, browser tab, API client, or MCP connection changes the project configuration. |
| Disabled | Your dashboard keeps its current copy instead of automatically loading those changes. You can overwrite someone else's newer work. |

Keep this on when several people or tools edit your project. Turning it off doesn't pause a website widget or prevent publication. It doesn't change how often anything refreshes for visitors.

See [API tokens](https://rightmessage.com/help/api-tokens-and-permissions) and [AI connection permissions](https://rightmessage.com/help/mcp-authorization-reference) for the credentials used by external tools.
